The Cabernet Sauvignon lends aromas dominated by fragrant black currant and cassis, while the Cabernet Franc provides the freshness and delicate violet aromas. Elegant and polished!

Dornier Estate’s 2006 Donatus Red Blend is comprised of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc, produced from two premium estate vineyards that yield exceptional fruit year after year. The 2006 Donatus comes from an exceptional vintage (one of the better harvests of the decade) and it possesses all that we love in a rich red blend - the best of refined “old world” concentration balanced with “new world” boldness.

Wine Enthusiast magazine awards the 2006 Donates 90 Points: “This alluring blend starts with aromas of black cherry, violets and black currant, leading into waves of black fruit and spice. Structured but smooth, it has a classic ageable quality.”
