Hailing from the Wahluke Slope AVA in south-central Washington (one of the warmer regions in the state), the Desert Wind 2019 Chardonnay was produced from the winery’s estate vineyard that produces well-structured, complex wines with a clear sense of place. This Chardonnay opens with aromas of tropical fruit, lemon curd, and vanilla, while the palate is creamy, balanced and bright with deeper, more complex layers of tropical fruits that lead into a long finish. Desert Wind’s 2019 Chardonnay pairs well with a variety of foods including risotto, grilled seafood, and creamy pasta dishes. Enjoy!
