Latin for ‘Intimately Connected,’ the Derby 2014 ‘Implico’ Red Blend is comprised of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Petit Verdot, 18% Cabernet Franc, and 9% Merlot, sourced from the Derby Vineyard and Laura’s Vineyard in Paso Robles. This wine offers aromas of black currant, black cherry, cocoa, candied mint, cedar, and dried herbs on the nose, while flavors of blackberry, cola, roasted plums, anise, grilled meats and dates round out the bold and well balanced palate.
