Produced from Cutruzzola’s tiny vineyards in San Luis Obispo County of California’s Central Coast, the 2012 ‘Gloria’ Pinot Noir is an excellent bottling and a special tribute
to owner Frank Cutruzzola’s mother. Medium ruby in color, this Pinot Noir is bursting with rich, spicy, black cherry aromas, with subtle hints of red plum, sarsaparilla, baking spices, and cedar. The palate is powerful, well structured, and beautifully balanced with soft yet complex flavors of cherry, dark berry, plum, spice and oak. Silky tannins linger on the long finish.
Wine Regions of the World
All six of our wine of the month clubs include wines from a multitude of wine growing regions, and as the French say, the concept of terroir is paramount. This idea stretches well beyond France and is a large contributing factor for wines produced in all wine regions around the world.
