The Côtière 2013 Laetitia Vineyard Pinot Noir comes from the Arroyo Grande Valley AVA of San Luis Obispo County on California's Central Coast. Here, the cooler coastal influences and gorgeous Western light creates truly remarkable winegrowing conditions for which the region is known (côtière is French for 'coastal,' by the way). The Côtière 2013 Pinot Noir is an intriguing wine with layers of complexity and prominent notes of savory herbs, game, tobacco, mint, and anise.
