Sourced from three outstanding vineyards in three unique Napa Valley appellations, Oakville, St. Helena, and Coombsville, the Cornerstone 2012 Napa Valley Cabernet Franc is a gorgeous example of this varietal with a distinct, expressive personality. Pure, rich, and classic in style, this Cabernet Franc showcases savory aromas of dried herbs, black tea leaves, and fresh tobacco, all intertwined with sweet red berry fruits and nuances of barrel spice. The palate is lively with its well-balanced acidity and yet it is also smooth and refined with a soft texture, suave tannins and a clean, velvety, persistent finish. This is an elegant wine that is drinking beautifully now, but it will continue to evolve in the cellar for those who are patient.
