A blend of 50% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 25% Mourvedre, the Cordon 2018 “Cuvée Rouge 246” Red Wine is a beautiful expression of a Santa Ynez Valley ‘GSM’ (the “246” is in honor of Highway 246 that runs the course of the region). Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre all originated in the Rhône region of France, and winemakers have long blended the three varietals together to achieve well-balanced wines with aromatic bouquets and clean fruit characteristics. Cordon’s version of the blend is rich, softly textured, complex and harmonious from start to finish. Enjoy!
