COPIA’s 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Happy Canyon, the easternmost and warmest microclimate in the Santa Ynez Valley. Here, the vines are dense and small, producing lower yields and highly concentrated berries of premium quality. Lush and opulent, this Cabernet Sauvignon brings sweet red and blue fruits along with tobacco and an herbaceous quality. It’s a wine that is generous in its mouthfeel, aromatics and finish. The texture strikes a balance between softness and full bodied, making it sultry and addictive. This wine offers great depth of flavor and complexity, and will continue to develop over the next decade. Enjoy!
