The Consilience 2012 Syrah was produced from some of the best and most exciting vineyards in Santa Barbara County, capturing the essence of California’s Central Coast with a nod to the Old World region of France’s Rhône Valley, where Syrah is traditionally grown.
Rich in color, the 2012 Syrah opens with scents of tobacco, tart cherry and raspberry. The palate is rich in flavor and structure with bold notes of dark plum and leather that linger on the finish. Try pairing the Consilience 2012 Syrah with a meal that’s just as beefy as the wine - we suggest Marinated Grilled Sirloin Steaks.
