Comartin's 2016 Cuvée Cassidy is a special barrel selection of Grenache (45%), Syrah (50%), and Mourvèdre (5%), otherwise known as a 'GSM,' crafted from acclaimed vineyards in the Santa Ynez Valley, including Tierra Alta in Ballard Canyon and Camp Four in the eastern part of the valley. In this blend, the Grenache offers the floral, berry-driven aromatics, while the Syrah gives the wine its color, body and concentration, and the touch of Mourvèdre contributes structure and length.
