Named for Adam and Jennifer Comartin’s youngest daughter, Cassidy, the 2012 Cuvée Cassidy is a special 6 barrel selection of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre (‘GSM’). The grapes are sourced from Camp Four Vineyard and Tierra Alta Vineyard, both in Santa Barbara County, which has proven to be an exceptional region for Rhône-style varietals.
Comprised of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, this wine has excellent balance, soft tannins, and delicate fruit flavors. Grenache and Mourvèdre both bring softness, red fruit, and spice to the blend, while the Syrah brings structure, color and dark berry fruit. An excellent expression of Rhône grapes from Santa Barbara.
