Produced from Collier Falls' hillside estate property in the Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County, the 2011 Zinfandel follows a legacy of award-winning wines form this small family winder. Brilliant ruby red color with aromas of rose petals and Christmas spice. On the palate you'll enjoy soft layers of juicy strawberry and raspberry flavors, balanced by hints of vanilla oak. A bright and lively Zinfandel with a long, spicy finish of black pepper and cherry cola. Pairs beautifully with short ribs, Italian sausage, or your favorite pizza and pasta dishes.
Wine Regions of the World
All six of our wine of the month clubs include wines from a multitude of wine growing regions, and as the French say, the concept of terroir is paramount. This idea stretches well beyond France and is a large contributing factor for wines produced in all wine regions around the world.
