A rich, full-bodied blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, the Château Peyrat-Fourthon 2019 Cru Bourgeois Supérieur is a classic representation of the Haut-Médoc winegrowing region. In the glass, this wine pours a deep purple hue with concentrated aromas of crushed plum, coffee, oak and vanilla with just a hint of smoke. The palate is well-structured with flavors of ripe raspberry and blueberry with oak nuances coming though on the finish. The wine’s well-structured tannins and balanced acidity make it an excellent option for pairing with food. Enjoy!
