Produced from the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation of the southern Rhône Valley of France, the Château Maucoil 2014 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a blend of 85% Grenache Blanc, 10% Bourboulenc, and 5% Clairette. Beautifully light golden in color, this wine is crisp, clear, and bright with fresh and vibrant flavors.
Rich aromas of pear and citrus complement the pretty flavors of white grapefruit, orange blossom, white flowers and subtle honeysuckle. The supple, fruit-forward palate is balanced with a nice presence of minerality that lingers on the finish. Try pairing the Château Maucoil 2014 Châteauneuf-du-Pape with seafood or goat cheese.
