Château Meroux’s 2007 Reserve Merlot comes from the Bennett Valley of Sonoma County and expresses the sheer diversity of the grape. Deep garnet red in color, the Reserve Merlot shows an opulent nose of dark fruits, dried cherries, blueberries, toasted oak and baking spices, with toffee, cedar, and spicy plum on the smooth, silky palate. This wine is rich, nicely structured, and fruit-driven with a mouthful of delicious juicy flavors.
