Produced from Sandra Newman’s tiny Cebada Vineyard at Forbidden Fruit Orchards, the 2014 Cuvée Pinot Noir is a blend of seven of the vintage’s best barrels. The wine offers fruity, rustic and earthy aromas and flavors of cranberry, red apple, and ripe tomato with juicy notes of raspberry, cherry and pomegranate, all balanced by well-integrated, dusty tannins, fresh acidity, and a softly textured finish. Try pairing this wine with balsamic glazed brussels sprouts, pasta, or cured meats.
