A blend of fruit from Estelle Vineyards in Santa Ynez Valley and Swayze Vineyard in Los Angeles County, the Cavaletti 2019 Tempranillo opens with intense aromas of blackberry, black plums, lavender, and dark-cocoa spice. The palate is nicely balanced with medium tannins, a dash of acidity, and flavors of rich Persian mulberry, blackberry, boysenberry, alpine strawberry, and hints of cocoa/coffee that lead into a long caramelized finish.
