Casey Flat Ranch’s award-winning Open Range wines are made to reflect a spirit of adventure and discovery and each year, the winemaking team sets out to discover and hand select the finest fruit available from California’s premier growing regions.
The 2010 Open Range Red Wine is a delicious red blend with fruit sourced from growers in the North Coast regions of California and complemented with fruit from the Casey Flat Ranch in Capay Valley of Yolo County. Winemaker Laura Barrett’s goal with the Open Range Red Wine is to craft a big, concentrated, fruit-driven wine offered at a great value – and she has certainly achieved that with the award-winning 2010 vintage. The deeply colored Open Range 2010 Red Wine has aromas of dried rose, roasted plum, and olive tapenade that complement a rich, full-bodied palate with flavors of dark fruit, clove and pepper.
