The 2014 Grenache from the Santa Ynez Valley makes a good case for “there really is a Grenache for everyone.” Blended from five different vineyards within the Santa Barbara County region, this bold yet balanced appellation-wine exemplifies the variety and distinct features of the area. On the nose a mix of red cherry, berry fruits and crushed flowers are found with notes of sweet spices. The aromas flow nicely into an earthy palate of pomegranate, hibiscus and licorice which are framed by round tannins and a long-lasting finish.
