The Carol Shelton 2013 Petite Sirah is from the Florence Vineyard in Sonoma County’s Dry Creek Valley. Farmed by legendary Rockpile grower Jack Florence, this vineyard produces bright and jammy Petite Sirah. Inky blue-purple in color, this wine has bright acidity but is also very juicy and supple with well-structured tannins and flavors of sweet black raspberry, dark chocolate, oak spice, and a bit of warm vanilla on the finish.
