Named after Ric and Michelle’s grandson Gabriel, the Campos 2016 ‘Gabriel’ Estate Barbera was produced exclusively from their family vineyards in Contra Costa County. Barbera is a red Italian wine grape variety that is known for its deep color, soft tannins, and high levels of acidity. This 2016 bottling offers juicy notes of strawberry, sour cherry, peach, blackberry, and raspberry, soft tannins, and a lingering finish. Try pairing the Campos 2016 ‘Gabriel’ Estate Barbera with dark meats, cheese, sausages and pizza.
