The Byron Blatty 2016 ‘Agenda’ is a blend of 85% Syrah (from LA County’s Alonso Family Vineyards) and 15% Tannat (from Bella Collina Vineyard in the Adelaida District of Paso Robles). On the nose, aromas of ripe red currants, fresh plums, sweet tobacco, earth, leather and boxwood mingle together. The palate is elegant and complex with brilliant acidity, ripe tannins, and nuanced flavors of fresh red berries, crushed gravel, and cocoa that carry through to the oak-accented, spiced finish. This wine is a true reflection of Byron Blatty’s ongoing Agenda - making world class wines from LA County that showcase the diversity of the region’s terroir.
