94-Points, Robert Parker Jr.’s The Wine Advocate —“The 2013 Buoncristiani Cabernet Sauvignon 15th Anniversary Vintage has beautiful crème de cassis fruit, blueberries, stunning purity, and a nice touch of graphite and background vanillin from new oak. Its full-bodied elegance combined with richness and power are impressive and authoritative. This is a beauty that is young and will no doubt improve from 5-10 years and last at least two decades.”

94-Points, Antonio Galloni’s Vinous —“The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon 15th Anniversary Vintage is another striking wine from Buoncristiani in this vintage. Modern and striking in its contours, the 2012 possesses superb depth throughout. Black cherry jam, hard candy, flowers, mint, and spices all flesh out in a voluptuous, racy Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next decade. This is a fairly soft wine for the year, yet there is plenty of energy.”

Winemaker Notes—“Expect to find deep aromas of cassis, black cherry, incense, dark chocolate, caramelized oak, toffee, and the Buoncristiani signatures of balance, depth on the mid palate, and a lengthy persistent finish. Precise amounts of Malbec were carefully folded into the final blend to add complexity and depth to the profile. Twenty months aging in 85% new French oak barrels rounded out the palate even further, while adding more texture, aroma, and flavor.”
