“Murky black ruby color. Aromas of smoked meat, bacon balsamic, and pencil lead with a satiny, vibrant, bone-dry full body and a warming, interesting, long pan seared dates, stewed Cremini mushroom, pumice stone, and Grenache finish with chewy, earthy tannins and moderate oak. A bold Rutherford Cab with dimensions left to explore; will benefit from time in either the decanter or the cellar, but is highly hedonic now.”

Winemaker’s Notes - Kari Auringer
“This dark, brooding wine showcases the structure, sensuality, and elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon at its best. It is complex and luscious, with velvety tannins, and concentrated flavors of black currant, cherry and mocha. Superbly balanced, elegant, and intense, it simultaneously exhibits grace and power. Approachable now, this beauty will develop well for 7-10 years. Decant first to allow aromas and flavors to fully express themselves.”
