A blend of Tempranillo fruit from three distinguished Paso Robles vineyards (Denner, Paper Street and Stockdale), the Bodega de Edgar 2017 Tempranillo is bold in flavor yet smooth and easy to drink. On the nose, this wine offers dense aromas of black plum, violet and blueberry, while the palate is framed by flavors of thick blueberry compote and dark cracked pepper-spice, firm tannins, and a lasting finish. The Bodega de Edgar 2017 Tempranillo pairs well with pizza or any red meat. Enjoy!

Chile Rellenos al Horno
Tip: use good quality thick-fleshed canned chiles. Make a slit down the side and spread them flat. Line the baking dish, then spoon the filling over instead of trying to stuff them. Bell peppers should be used only in desperation. The following recipe gives both the customary meat version and an optional cheese version. Pair with the 2012 Kenneth Volk Tempranillo.

Roasted Sweet Potato Chili
Warm and inviting, this sweet potato chili will have you going back for seconds! The bold flavors of the chili would pair wonderfully with Opolo's 2013 Tempranillo or 2013 Sangiovese.
