Bodega de Edgar’s 2017 ‘E-Squared’ Red Blend is comprised of 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache, both sourced from the Kimsey Vineyard in Santa Barbara County. On the nose, this wine offers notes of black cherry, blackberry, loamy soil and hints of oak, while the palate is dense with a firmly grippy structure, flavors of dark fruit and light licorice spice, and bright, fresh acidity to round it out.
