Blue Rock’s 2018 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon features four distinct blocks of Cabernet, plus careful selections of Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot for complexity and intensity. The final ensemble is a stellar example of Alexander Valley Cabernet at its finest. Pristine dark red in color, the Blue Rock 2018 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas that celebrate the dark side - ripe black plum, black currant and black cherry, that are heightened by a note of graphite and touches of black pepper, vanilla and sun-baked earth. These elements come to a beautiful crescendo on the palate, which is in wonderful harmony and balance with fine tannins, a splash of acidity, and a dash of warm baking spices. The finish is long and satisfying. Enjoy!
