The 2004 Vagabond, Bacio Divino Cellars, Napa Valley is a "knock out" from veteran winemaker Claus Janzen. This stunning wine possesses an enticing fruit forward aromatic bouquet, a seamless texture and a complexity that is exceedingly pleasing from the moment it opens all the way through the polished and sophisticated finish.

Robert Parker in the Wine Advocate rated this delicious wine, 91 Points — “An impressive new offering is the 600-case 2004 Vagabond, is a blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged completely in French oak, it boasts a dense ruby/purple hue, a big, sweet, blackberry, flower, pepper, coffee, and chocolate scented bouquet, full body, and a soft, expansive style.”

The blend is superb; the Syrah adds grip, pear notes and fleshiness while the Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits exquisite currant and black fruit aromas and flavors. The blend melds and enhances the best of both varietals, presenting an overall highly complex, well-balanced wine that will gratify the most discerning palates.
