Winning a Double Gold Medal at the Orange County Fair Wine Competition, a Gold Medal during the Monterey Wine Competition, another Gold Medal at the San Diego International Wine Competition, and a Gold Medal at the Monterey County Wine Challenge puts this elegant and luscious Pinot Noir in a category by itself. The Aliento del Sol 2003 Sacramento Vineyard Pinot Noir is handcrafted at Orcutt Road Cellars in the Edna Valley, San Luis Obispo, California and has all of the right stuff to emerge as one of the year's best wines from the Riboli family.

This Pinot Noir is dark and structured with intense flavors of black cherry and raspberry. Barrel aging for 10 months contributed nuances of oak spice and cedar with a long, mouth-filling finish. Pair this multi-Gold Medal winning Pinot Noir with meats prepared with rich sauces or a simple roast chicken.
