Quivira 2016 Rosé

Dry Creek Valley - Sonoma County

93 Points - Wine Enthusiast magazine

This Grenache-dominated, 2016 vintage Rosé from Quivira Vineyards comes from the highest caliber estate-grown grapes. Handpicked and cold-pressed with a hint of the grape skins allowed for its beautiful pink color. Opening with upfront aromas of strawberry, the first sip leads into a delicate, yet full-flavored palate. It’s a refreshing wine that displays just enough of its soft character to an otherwise vibrant palate. Flavors of white peach, orange rind and nectarine are focused and long. A blend of 68% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, 4% Petite Sirah and 3% Counoise organically grown grapes. Enjoy throughout this Fall.

Carol Shelton 2016 Wild Thing Rendezvous Rosé

Mendocino AVA

Best Buy & 90 Points - Wine Enthusiast, July 1, 2017
Best of Region & Gold Medal - California State Fair
Gold Medal & 91 Points - San Diego International Wine Competition
Gold Medal & 90 Points - Monterey Wine Competition
Gold Medal - 2017 Pacific Rim International Wine Competition

Rendez-vous with your friends over a bottle of this Wild Thing Rosé from Carol Shelton Wines! The amazing deep pink color comes from three days of ‘bleeding’ the juice of red Carignan grapes after being crushed. Once in the glass, it takes on a light cranberry color and welcoming aromas of strawberry-watermelon, fresh spring flowers, a zest of cara cara oranges, and vanilla shortcake. A refreshing, crisp, dry and mouth-watering wine that pairs wonderfully with just about any food! A blend of 76% Carignane, 18% Zinfandel, 5% Pinot Noir with 1% Cabernet Sauvignon.

McEvoy Ranch 2016 Rosebud Rosé

Sonoma Coast AVA & Los Carneros AVA

98 Points / Double GOLD / Best of Class - California State Fair

Grapes from vineyards in Carneros and the Sonoma Coast were blended to make this delicate and fresh Rosebud Rosé from McEvoy Ranch. The blend of Syrah and Pinot Noir give it a lovely floral aroma with outstanding freshness and acidity. After fermentation, the wine was briefly aged in barrels giving it inviting fruit flavors of Alpine strawberries, peach, pink grapefruit and honeydew melon which compliment the citrus and floral aromatics. It’s versatile and well suited to accompany oysters, seafood, roasted poultry, creamy cheeses and spicy dishes. A blend of 68% Syrah, 32% Pinot Noir.

Ascension Cellars 2016 Siren Rosé

Paso Robles AVA

Double Gold Medal - Rosé Today 2017 Competition

The 2016 Siren Rosé from Ascension Cellars is a seductive, travel-inspired Rosé of Grenache, Mourvèdre and a splash of Syrah. Cold fermentation and limited exposure to oxygen allowed for the subtle characteristics of this wine to shine through. The nose is vivid and crisp with notes of strawberry, bing cherry, citrus blossom and watermelon that transform into an alluring palate and a touch of minerality. A smooth, rounded finish is refreshing and sophisticated. A glass would pair wonderfully with aged goat (Midnight Moon) or fresh feta cheeses to medium-bodied Spanish Manchego cheeses, shellfish, pork, turkey, and pasta. A blend of 75% Grenache, 19% Mourvèdre, 6% Syrah.

Kitá 2016 Grenache Rosé

Santa Ynez Valley AVA

Gold Medal / Best of Grenache Rosé / Best Pink - Central Coast Wine Competition

Situated on the eastern edge of the Santa Ynez Valley, Camp 4 Vineyard enjoys a microclimate perfect for growing Rhône and Bordeaux varietals. The 2016 Rosé from Kitá Wines is 100% Grenache Noir that offers a pale pink color and brilliant aromatics of strawberries, hibiscus, watermelon and orange zest. The vibrant aromas lead into a balanced palate of concentrated acidity and flavors of ruby red grapefruit, peach, and floral perfume with hints of allspice and a creamy finish. This Grenache Rosé is a great match for almost any dish. Pour a glass on a crisp Fall day and enjoy its freshness with a melon and prosciutto salad. 100% Grenache.
