Sojourn Cellars - Sonoma County

96 Points - Pinot Report & 'One of the Hot Small Brands for 2008' - Wine Business Monthly

Sojourn Cellars is a notable up-and-coming boutique producer in Sonoma County, known for their extremely limited releases of Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. This new winery began as a partnership between Craig Haserot and Erich Bradley, two friends who met on the tennis courts of Sonoma, and shared a desire to create delicious, handcrafted artisan wines. The ambitious duo had their first release in 2004 and named the winery Sojourn after Plato’s famous quote, “Life is but a Sojourn. Enjoy the best of it.” Bradley describes his winemaking at Sojourn as New World style complemented by Old World sensibilities, and he incorporates traditional, meticulous techniques to produce distinctive wines for the portfolio. These exclusively red wine makers only produce 5 wines: three Cabernet Sauvignons and two Pinot Noirs, from select vineyards throughout Sonoma’s coast and valley regions. With 94 plus pointed scores and an enthusiastic media response, Sojourn is excited about the caliber of wines they’re seeing and look forward to future expansion within their vineyard designate program throughout Sonoma and Napa Valley.
