Most German wines are extremely high quality and almost all are consumed within the borders of their country until recently. Auslese, beerenauslese and trockenbeerenauslese wines produced are among the finest dessert wines in the world. The immaculate eiswein with its limited annual production is considered one of the great wines of the world too. The Nahe Valley in Germany consist of small producers and are mostly family run operations that continually compete with their Mosel and Rhine brothers.
A few Nahe Valley vintners have begun the process of exporting their wines. It is a delight to offer our International Wine Club Members the wines of Weinegut Sitzius, one of Nahe Valley’s premier growers and vintners.
