Ensalada Con Salsa (Mixed Green Salad with Dressing)


A crisp and flavorful salad dressing served over a beautiful bowl of mixed greens. Pair this with a glass of Sémillon!

• 1 green pepper, chopped
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
• 2 tbs catsup
• 3/4 cup wine vinegar
• 1 cup olive oil
• Mixed greens
• 1 onions, chopped
• 1/2 tsp paprika
• 2 tbs sugar
• 1/2 tsp dry mustard
• Juice of one lemon
• 1/4 cup Rothschild Brandy


Combine green pepper, onions, salt, paprika, pepper, catsup, mustard and sugar in a mixing bowl. Mash together with wooden spoon. Allow to stand for 5 minutes. Combine vinegar, lemon juice and oil. Pour into mixing bowl and stir with vegetables. Add brandy and mix well. Serve over mixed greens.
