Chicken Marbella


Although the recipe requires overnight marinating, this Chicken Marbella is worth the wait! Rich in flavor and balanced textures, you'll definitely wish there was more. Pair it with a nice Chardonnay.

Yield: 12-16 pieces of chicken

Cook Time: 60 Minutes


• 12-16 pieces of chicken

• 1/2 cup chopped garlic
• 1/4 cup dried oregano
• 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
• 1/2 cup olive oil
• 1 cup pitted prunes
• 1/2 cup pitted green olives
• 1/2 cup capers
• 6 bay leaves
• 1-1/2 teaspoons Salt
• 1-l/2 teaspoons Black pepper

• 1 Cup brown sugar
• 1 Cup Adler Fels Chardonnay


Combine all ingredients for the marinade. Marinate 12-16 pieces of chicken overnight.

Once they are ready to be baked, arrange the chicken pieces in two large shallow baking pans. Pour the Chardonnay over the chicken and sprinkle with brown sugar.

Bake at 350 degrees 50 - 60 minutes or until done. Reheats and holds well. Serve with remaining wine.
