Barbecued Leg of Lamb

1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves garblic, chopped
1/2 cup wine vinegar
1 bay leaf
1/4 cup wine vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
1 T. dried thyme
1 cup of red wine
dried herbs and dried bay leaves (optional)

Warm up barbecue for 10 minutes
Grill lamb on high for 10 minutes
Turn on low for 25 minutes, for rare, 110-120 degrees on instant meat thermometer, turning ever 10 minutes or so
Medium- 150 degrees, Well 180 degrees
