Red Wines

1) Townley 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon

Made with a splash of Petit Verdot, this Cab is a great choice from our Garagiste Wine Club. Only 120 cases were produced and we were lucky to get our hands on some! From the Paso Robles AVA, this blend of Syrah, Zinfandel and Merlot is soft, approachable - making it the winery's most popular wine! Ripe and fruity on the nose, this Red Blend has flavors of berries, red fruits, and spices that linger long into the finish. Find out more here.







3) Frank Family 2013 Petite Sirah

The S&J Vineyard Reserve is made with 100% Petite Sirah grapes from Capell Valley in Napa. The warm vineyard site gives the grapes and resulting wine a rich and luscious quality that is both graceful and balanced. Dark in color, this Petite Sirah is full-bodied and bursting with fresh acidity with aromas and flavors of licorice, black tea, blackberry and cloves. Find out more here.






4) Fore Family 2012 Pinot Noir

Silky, fruity and displaying excellent balance, the 2012 Pinot Noir from the Fore Family Vineyards in Los Carneros earned 92 Points and two Gold Medals at competitions! Classic aromas of earth and cherries are supported by sage, cream and French vanilla. White pepper also makes an appearance in the flavors that mimic its nose. Find out more here.






5) Mission Estate 2014 Cabernet Franc

Featured in our International Wine Club, the Cabernet Franc from Mission Estate Winery in New Zealand is a Gold Medal Wine Club exclusive import! Rarely is this varietal singled out on its own, but it is recently and rightfully gaining its place among the popular single-varietal wines. The 2014 Cab Franc is all about big structure and robust fruit flavors. Aromas of spicy oak, floral perfume and dark fruit complement the palate and pulls out notes of cassis, red fruit and sweet cedar. Find out more here.






White Wines

1) Moone Tsai 2014 Chardonnay

Featuring a Chardonnay in our Diamond Wine Club is a rarity, but the 94 and 93 Point rated Chardonnay from Moone Tsai Vineyards graciously earned its spot in our recently featured wines. Made from grapes grown on the Sonoma Coast, the nose opens with smells of apricot, peach, mint, pineapple, and wild flowers which follow through on the rich, buttery palate. This is a textural and all-around intriguing and sleek wine that is simply wonderful. Find out more here.





2) Shutter 2014 Sauvignon Blanc

From the Lake County AVA, this Gold Wine Club selection from Shutter Wines is organically grown and made in a classic Bordeaux style. Distinct minerality and well-balanced acidity is complimented by full flavors and aromas of grapefruit, ripe peaches and smooth tropical fruits. 3) Serrano 2014 'Liquid Luck' White Blend

A combination of Viognier, Grenache Blanc and Roussanne, this beautiful wine is thoughtfully made with the great white wines of the Rhône Valley in mind. 4) Alma Rosa 2014 Pinot Gris

From the Santa Barbara County, this Pinot Gris was awarded 95 Points, a Gold Medal and Best of Class of Region from the California State Fair! 5) Seven Angels 2014 '7A' Grenache Blanc

100% Grenache Blanc, this wine is frequently overshadowed by its red counterpart, Grenache Rouge but this is special and small production white wine from vineyards on the Central Coast. The nose features bright green able and fresh citrus with a developed palate of apple, peach and a touch of anise. Excellent body and low acidity make for a wonderful silky finish. 6) Hastwell & Lightfoot 2016 Vermentino

This International Wine Club feature is and exclusive import from South Australia's McLaren Vale. This Italian varietal is gaining popularity due to its ability to make exceptionally rich and complex white wines. Pale in appearance but possesses an elegant nose with notes of white stone fruits such as peaches, mangoes and cherries. It lends a soft structure and medium body which shows a great amount of fruit on the palate highlighted by boney and lemon. Find out more here.
