The Maldonado 2010 Los Olivos Vineyard Chardonnay comes from the family vineyard in Jamieson Canyon, one of the coolest regions in Napa Valley that sees influence from the nearby San Pablo Bay. A consistent fog over the vineyard ensures a slow, even ripening process while maintaining a crisp, bright acidity that showcases the wonderful fruit flavors of this Napa Valley Chardonnay. Bright golden yellow in color, the 2010 Los Olivos Vineyard Chardonnay offers aromas of fresh pear, brown sugar, and banana. The palate is dense, bold, and full of fruit and spice with a rich, creamy core of vanilla, honeysuckle, pear, green apple, peaches, and fig. It has wonderful minerality, a vibrant finish, and the characteristic crisp acidity of Maldonado’s Chardonnay.
