Founded in 2000 by Tim Busch and his wife Steph, Trinitas Cellars is a faith-based winery in the beautiful rolling hills of Contra Costa County, just south of Napa Valley in northern California. Trinitas, the Latin word for Trinity, is not only the fundamental principle of the Christianity religion, but to the Busch family it also symbolizes Sun, Soil and Humanity, which are the three ingredients evoking the perfect wine. The winery’s newest feature is its unique Estate Cave and wine tasting facility, which are found forty feet below Napa Valley’s iconic Grape Crusher statue, “nel coure della terra†(literally, “in the heart of the earthâ€). The magnificent cave is a part of the luxurious Meritage Resort and Spa and offers guests an environment unlike any other in this prestigious wine country. The Estate Cave represents two historic “firsts†in Napa Valley hospitality: the first wine tasting center at a resort property and the first such tasting center in an underground facility. The Trinitas philosophy embraces good food, wine, friends, and family with dedication to producing approachable wines from spectacular northern California vineyards. With multiple 90 Plus Pointed, Gold Medal winning wines in their portfolio, Trinitas Cellars continues to craft distinct vineyard driven wines with each highly anticipated release.
