The Mueller Winery is located on the picturesque Starr Road Winery and Vineyard Trail in the Russian River Valley, near the town of Windsor, in northern California. The winery with its distinctive green Dutch hip roof blends seamlessly into a grove of native oak trees. Robert Mueller built his winery in 1991 aimed primarily at producing extremely high quality varietals for a number of assorted customers. Five years later, Mueller produced 315 cases of his own premium Burgundian varietals. Today, Robert Mueller’s total production is just under 5,000 cases and he has become nationally and internationally recognized as one of the top Chardonnay and Pinot Noir winemakers in California. For the most part, Robert Mueller followed time-honored methods to achieve his goals. Upon graduation at U.C. Davis, Davis California, Mueller signed on at Foppiano Winery then Charles Krug Winery before he landed in the Central Valley with the Perelli-Minetti facility. After several years, Mueller moved to Sonoma’s Chateau Souverain in the Alexander Valley where he dedicated himself to developing his skills and style of producing ultra-premium select varietal wines. We are pleased to offer the inaugural release of the Mueller Winery 2005 Pinot Gris to our members. We know you will enjoy it to its fullest.
