This super Zinfandel garnered a Silver Medal at the Mid-State Fair Central Coast Wine Competition and a second Silver Medal at the popular, California Zinfandel Championship. The wine also brought home an 87 Point rating from the California State Fair. The San Francisco Chronicle scored the 2004 Zinfusion Two and One Half Stars out of three and listed the wine as one of the Top Zinfandels tasted—“This fellow is more massive than its sibling, both on the nose and palate, with more apparent alcohol and tannins lingering on the finish.
